Nazca Lines

The original astrotisement. The largest series of astrotisements in the world. They were created between 400 and 650 AD. These are examples of simple contrast differences between the red rocks on top and the white ground below. The Nazca lines have survived a long time however as the weather changes around the globe they are at high risk of being lost forever to even the smallest amounts of rain.

Incan Geoglyphs

The Chiza geoglyphs have been around for nearly as long as the Nazca lines. The contrast used for these astrotisements is much better than the Nazca lines, they have been created by placing black stones on the much lighter desert sands.
